I knew I love him the moment I chose to disregard the nagging suspicion I have about his questionable faithfulness in our relationship. I am in possession of every possible means of uncovering, if I wanted to, but truth be told, I didn't think it would make much of a difference. Cause he can love another if he must and life shall still be as if he hadn't. But the world "would turn to a mighty stranger" (Wuthering Heights) if he ever falls out of love with me.

I have lived a quarter of a century thinking love have got to make more sense than this. But what I know now, are things I already knew then.
